Boris spent over a decade at high-growth startups, starting as a Junior Software Enginer and growing into Vice President of Engineering. He built and led a global engineering organization of over 120 people across the United States, Europe, and Latin America. He was responsible for shipping products that helped scale companies from early stage to billion+ valuations.
Along the way, Boris advised several companies on engineering hiring, training, product development, and data analytics across the US, Europe, and Latin America. That experience reinforced that building great products requires equal parts strong systems and strong people, and that growth at scale depends on tight alignment between product, engineering, and go-to-market. He co-founded Growaton to bring that operating model to companies that need senior execution without the overhead of building a full internal team — accelerated by AI-powered tooling.
Boris holds a Master's degree from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and has lectured on software engineering at universities across Latin America. He brings international perspective from having lived and worked across Central America, Europe, and the United States.
